It's a beautiful espresso to drink without milk but also delivers great stone fruit sweetness as a cappuccino or latte. These will mostly be washed coffees from East Africa, but expect a few surprises from other countries that offer this flavour profile.
The coffee in Lucky Peach right now comes from the small hamlet of Danche, deep in the backcountry of Gedeb in Southern Ethiopia. It’s delicate and elegant, with florals and a tea-like body, perfectly personifying the Lilac Dream profile.
