This new washed Yirgacheffe struck us with bold citrus, juicy berries, and a hint of tropical fruit flavor. We cupped Danche perhaps a dozen times and always remarked on its weight and presence.
This coffee is de-pulped and fermented for 72 hours, washed and soaked for an additional hour, and dried for 12 days on raised beds. Danche is the name of the wet mill and the village where it is located.
