We are excited to share our first release from the new Ethiopian harvest and this espresso does not disappoint. In the region of Guji, Ismael Hassen Aredo and his family have worked to make Kayon Mountain a true standout and we fell for this velvety espresso immediately. Natural processing brings sweet fruit and creamy texture - think chocolate covered strawberries.
The Cup
Kayon Mountain is a round, velvety coffee that fills the cup with sweetness. Expect a big note of ripe strawberry first, followed by caramel and black tea. Soft stone fruit is reminiscent of some of our favourite Ethiopian coffees
