You don't see a LOT of red or black honey coffees from Ethiopia...it's not a "thing" over there. Bekele Belaycho the man behind this coffee is a leader of a whole slew of small producers around Bensa. While we've had some other coffees that he's orchestrated, we're pretty sure this is the 1st time we have a single lot from Bekele. Red honey means the acidity is not super high but the sweetness overall is enhanced, so if you want a sweet cup from Ethiopia but you aren't the biggest fan of acidity, this is your jam!
