Recipe:

There are many ways to enjoy your soluble specialty coffee.

The most basic one that we suggest is to add 200 ml of water (max. 75 ºC) to your favorite cup, let it sit for a couple of minutes, and enjoy!

With this cup we enjoy a creamy, sweet body, with very clear notes of milk chocolate and pecans. Aromas of plum, raisins and cocoa powder with a long and slightly fruity cherry aftertaste.

Entre Ríos, grown in central Costa Rica, in the Cartago region, is a flagship coffee at Nomad and for the sixth consecutive year we maintain a direct relationship with the producer. Located on the slopes of the Turrialba volcano, at 1,400 meters above sea level, it is the largest coffee plantation in Costa Rica. The land is divided by various water channels that connect the two large rivers that surround the farm, the Turrialba and the Aquiares. It is a majestic natural area where a small pre-Columbian community lived hundreds of years ago and of which vestiges are still found.

The washing process that these cherries follow begins with a preselection by flotation, separating the densest and healthiest ones. They are then pulped and the mucilage is removed mechanically before placing them in water tanks for a 6-hour partial fermentation. After this time they go through pre-drying and then through the Guardiola where they are for 32 hours at a temperature of between 45 and 55 degrees Celsius. After drying, the coffee is stored in silos where they remain at a stable humidity that ensures that the coffee beans remain in excellent condition until shipment.
