Peru is finally upon us! This is our first Peruvian coffee of the season, and we love it. The florals are big and beautiful, and the flavors are ripe, red/orange, and bright. We taste saturated orange, juice and zest, along with tart cranberry and lovely rose. This is a killer coffee.
Maribel owns two hectares of land and grows gesha, caturra, and catuai. This "extended fermentation" washed coffee has no trace of process to us. Expect big, clean flavors across the board. Maribel and her family focus on picking ripe cherries, and after thorough washing, the coffee dried on patios for 25 days.
