This coffee comes to us from a producer named Daniel Mĳane. The Mĳane washing station was established in 2012 by his father in the Gedeb district south of Yirgacheffe. Soon after, Daniel left his job at the agricultural offices in Gedeb to join his father at the washing station. Nearby smallholder farmers from the Worka valley deliver their cherries to the washing station where it is fermented underwater for 24 to 48 hours and then dried on raised beds for 7 to 10 days.
