We are thrilled to announce Prodigal's first washed Ethiopian coffee of the season. We love Habtamu for its rich stone fruit, big citrus, and hint of mango. Thank you to our friends at Crop To Cup for finding another gem for us.
For this lot, underripe cherry was first removed, followed by floating for further sorting. After mechanical depulping, the coffee dried on raised African beds for 13-15 days. Habtamu Fikadu Aga (Kuri Mountain Coffee) has washing stations in Wolega, Guji, and Jimma.
