This is an Ethiopian Tasting Kit from Prodigal. 3 different Ethiopian coffees, processed 3 ways. This is a great way to see the affect processing has on a coffee, as well as the different taste profiles from within the same country.
Each kit contains 3 Ethiopian coffees, each processed a different way (Washed, Honey, Natural). There will also be an online cupping session hosted by Scott Rao and Christopher Feran at the end of September (date to come) where you can join alongside them, as they'll be having the same coffees. It will also be recorded for later viewing should you not be able to make the live stream.

This month we are offering a set of three Ethiopian coffees, each processed differently. Our Ethiopian Tasting Kit consists of three 175-g bags of coffee: one washed, one honey, and one natural. We will invite Tasting Kit customers to join Scott and special guest Christopher Feran in a CupWise online cupping of the kit. Christopher sourced the natural coffee and I’m sure he’ll blow us away with information from his Ethiopian sourcing adventure.
During the cupping we will taste the coffees as a group, answer questions in a live chat, use an interactive score sheet, and at the end, reveal how the average customer scores compared to Scott's and Christopher's. We will record the session for those who cannot join live.
The online cupping session is a wonderful opportunity to share a tasting experience with others, learn how professionals taste coffee, compare your results to ours, and learn a bit about cup scoring. If you joined any Facsimile cuppings in 2020, you know how wonderful cupping together online can be.
