Kiganjo Factory is part of the Thiririka Farmers Co-operative Society, which runs three factories with 2,400 active small-scale farmers. Together, they cultivate about 409 hectares and produce an estimated annual yield of 75,393 kilograms. The coffee in this region is hand-picked, processed using the wet method, sun-dried, and then dry-milled. The main harvest period is from October to January, with an early crop harvested between April and June.
